This spot includes trails that border the Moffett channel and ponds belonging to the Sunnyvale Water Treatment Control Plant as well as salt ponds. Offering views of the beautiful San Francisco Bay as well as tule marshes and other habitats that host species such as Belted Kingfisher, Cinnamon Teal, Black-necked Stilt, American White Pelican, Green Heron, Northern Harrier, Say's Phoebe, Marsh Wren, Savannah Sparrow, Red-winged Blackbird and Common Yellowthroat. The trails are popular for joggers and dog walkers as well as birders and nature lovers.

Spanning multiple Ebird hotspots, this site has also hosted a number of rarities including: Red-throated Pipit, Swamp Sparrow, Painted Bunting, Palm Warbler, Tropical Kingbird, Little Blue Heron, Common Tern, Arctic Tern, Franklin's Gull, Hudsonian Godwit, Ruff and more.
