The variety off habitats in a short walk produces a variety of birds including Limpkin, Blue-grey Gnatcatcher and White Ibis all year. Notable migration and summer birds include Great Crested Flycatcher, Prothonotary Warbler, Northern Waterthrush, Common Yellowthroat, Yellow-throated Warbler and Northern Parula. Winter Blue-headed Vireo, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Swamp Sparrow, Black-and-white Warbler and Orange-crowned Warbler.
