Descripción

Wembury Point was once a large Navy gunnery school, the site still has an MOD radar installation, HMS Cambridge, that can be seen at the top of the headland. The National Trust over the past 20 years has been re-wilding this coastal headland and it is now a haven for wildlife. The site has a huge variety of habitats and attracts a number of different bird species. It is recognised as being one of the best locations in the country to see Escribano Soteño.
