Birds that top the list in Thursden Valley are Lagópodo Común, Cuervo Grande and the laughing Pito Real. One minute your on open barren moorland the next your in the woods. Among the other birds you can encounter are Ostrero Euroasiático, Lechuza Común, Cernícalo vulgar, Alondra Común, Bisbita Pratense, Serreta Grande, Tarabilla común, Pinzón Vulgar, Zarapito Real, Búho Campestre and Mochuelo Europeo.

Thursden Valley is located northeast of Burnley. You can park near the Coldwell reservoirs. Click on the P in the map for directions, Or you can make the journey big and come from either Widdop or Hurstwood. Best to explore the area by foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 1,8 mile (3 km).
