Descripción
Tegg's Nose is a Country Park managed by Cheshire East Council. When walking to reach the summit, you will experience different wildlife habitats including heathland, grassland, scree and woodland.
Colirrojo Real, Tarabilla común, Mosquitero Musical, Bisbita Pratense, Curruca Zarcera, Pardillo Común, Alondra Común are present in the heathland. Vencejo Común , Golondrina Común , Avión Común , Busardo ratonero and Cernícalo vulgar can be seen in the sky. The woodland houses Trepador Azul, Carbonero Común, Herrerillo Común, Reyezuelo Sencillo and other woodland species.
Tegg's Nose is also important area for butterflies and moth - Emperor Moth breed here.

Accesso
Tegg’s Nose is located just east of Macclesfield. Park in one of the car parks (click P on the map for directions) on either side of the park. Gritstone Trail passes through the park. The area is best explored by foot. Cycling is not allowed in the park.
