Descripción

The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of Arao Común crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of Alca Común, Cormorán Moñudo and Gaviota Tridáctila. Chova Piquirroja are regular here as are Halcón Peregrino. In the spring and summer Collalba Gris are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce Esmerejón, possibly Aguilucho pálido and good flocks of Chorlito Dorado Europeo. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.
