Descripción
Chief point of interest of this is the smaller part of the Rutland Water Nature Reserve is the Águila Pescadora nest. It's difficult to see beyond the Águila Pescadora nest, and there are few places in Britain where this species breed reliably. The Wildlife Trust know this and provide scopes, people and a video link to help visitors to appreciate these birds. This section of the reserve has several hides looking across the southern arm of Rutland Water in a more natural outlook than the main reserve.
Keep an eye open: there are other birds worth noting - Garceta Grande, for example.
