Descripción
Located in the heart of the Somerset Levels and Moors, Greylake is a flat wetland with good paths and reedbed. Thanks to all the water, you can see Avefría Europea, Archibebe Común and Agachadiza común nesting in the spring. Smaller birds such as Carricerín Común, Lavandera Boyera and Escribano Palustre can be heard and seen singing from the trails.
Over winter, vast flocks of ducks and waders, being hunted by birds of prey. Avefría Europea and Chorlito Dorado Europeo are sometimes joined by Correlimos Común, Combatiente and Aguja Colinegra. Large flocks of Silbón Europeo, Cerceta Común and smaller groups of Cuchara Común, Ánade friso and Ánade rabudo norteño feed in front of the hides. Halcón Peregrino and Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental are seen regularly and Esmerejón and Aguilucho pálido occasionally.

Accesso
There is a free car park off A361 (Ashcott to Taunton road) well signposted just before entrance. There is a boardwalk which meanders from the car park to the hide and provides disabled access. Said to be wheelchair friendly but never tried.
