Traeth Glaslyn (hide) is the main reserve, north of Ffestiniog Light Railway and A497 road. Smaller reserve south of Morfa Bychan golf course. Winter and autumn brings divers, waders, Negrón común flock, Cisne Cantor, Búho Campestre. Serreta Mediana and Gaviota Enana get blown inshore after storms. High tide best views, otherwise telescope essential. Take care when walking in tidal areas. Some areas are completely covered at high tide and are slippery at low tide, boots are best.
