Descripción

Holywell Pond is a small lake near the villages of Holywell and Seaton Delaval, with reedbeds and some woodland. A wader scrape in the suotheast corner (in front of the public hide) can attract passage waders; there are also some flash pools in fields to the east that can also attract waders. Wildfowl and woodland birds at main lake. Some of the birds you can encounter are Porrón Europeo, Cuchara Común, Cerceta Común, Gaviota Cana, Búho Campestre, Zampullín Común, Avefría Europea, Ostrero Euroasiático and Charrán Común.
