RSPB car park free to members. There is a pay and display oppersite for the nature reserve. £3 per car for all day.

In winter thousands of Estornino Pinto arrive to roost in the reedbeds at dusk often performing spectacular murmurations. During spring The ‘boom’ of the male Avetoro Común can be heard echoing across the reserve and flying females bringing food to their young. Swallows, swifts, Avión Zapador and Alcotán Europeo arrive from Africa - up to 30 Alcotán Europeo may be seen in the air at one time.
