Descripción
Two large areas of water, overlooked by steep sides giving excellent overviews. Rarely gets unusual birds, but in spring and summer, orchids, damselflies, dragonflies and butterflies are a delightful distraction. The woodland hide gives a good view of woodland birds.

Accesso
Accessible by car, bike or public transport; there's a car park which can get full during school holidays and weekends. Although parkingv isn't charged for, visitors are encouraged to make a donation (usually £4).
On site, access is excellent along a level paved former roadway that's suitable for wheels. There are also side routes of varying standard.
Dogs are not permitted.

Open from 9am to 4pm (winter) or 5pm (summer), although there are also special guided events at other times. Closed on Mondays.
The full circuit is just over 2 miles, but detours through woodland are recommended.
There's a shop, toilets and cafeteteria.
