The reedbeds and adjoining scrub in Barnwell Country Park have Carricerín Común, Carricero Común, Escribano Palustre and Cetia Ruiseñor as breeders. Martín Pescador Común are frequent. Woodland has Agateador Euroasiático, Trepador Azul and Carbonero Palustre. Winter wildfowl such as Ánade friso, Cerceta Común, Ánade rabudo norteño, Porrón Europeo and Porrón Moñudo. Barnwell Country Park is located directly to the south of the village of Oundle. Follow the brown and white signs off the A605 Oundle bypass. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Parking at Barnwell Country Park costs £3.20 for up to 4 hours. By Bus: there is a regular bus service to and from Oundle town centre - the bus stop is approximately a quarter of a mile away from the park. Barnwell Country Park is open all day, every day with free admission.
