Abbotsbury Swannery has open water, sand and shingle, withy beds and water meadows. Child-friendly with a decoy, swannery history exhibits and swan feeding twice daily (closed October to March). 152 wild species seen here including Serreta Grande, Serreta Mediana, Búho Campestre, Cuervo Grande, Halcón Peregrino, Charrán Común, Charrancito Común, Mosquitero Bilistado and Zampullín Cuellinegro.

Abbotsbury is midway between Weymouth and Bridport, 17 miles from each. The swannery is one mile south of the village along a minor road. Buses stop in the village (regular X53 bus service runs through Abbotsbury). No trains nearby. Parking is free, entrance fee £ 12. Note: the swannery is closed October to March.
