Descripción
Vombs ängar are wide and flat moist meadows, with two towers to observe the area. The whole site is restricted, all year, so the route has to be along the surrounding roads. In the winter big flocks of geese gather and up to nine species can be seen, with gems like Ánsar piquicorto , Barnacla cuelliroja and more rarely Ánsar chico.
The meadows are also an area for migrating, resting and wintering pipits such as Bisbita Alpino. A tip is to look along the ditches that cross the meadows (mainly the one between the towers). The area is also good for raptors, in migration but also wintering such as Águila Real and Pigargo Europeo. Other rare but occasional spieces are Agachadiza Real and Polluela Pintoja.
