Ven

The absolute best way to see Ven is by bike, on the top of the hill after disembarking the ferry there is a bike rental with reasonable prices. From there discover the island on the paths and the dirt roads. The island is mainly agricultural but with beautiful views all sides of the straight. Along the mainroad and at the two harbours a good variety of restaurants can be found.

In the summer time the island does not give any special from a species point of view, but a beautiful landscape with Curruca Zarcera , Zarcero Icterino , Carricero Políglota and Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental patroling the fields. On the steep sides down to the sea Avión Zapador breeds in big numbers and in the surrounding sea Arao Aliblanco can be seen.
