The northernmost part of lake Funäsdalssjön has shrubs and reeds along the beach that attract birds. Out on open water, various ducks rest. The area has a bird observation tower. Among the birds you can see in the Risnäset - Funäsdalen area are Negrón especulado, Porrón Osculado, Cisne Cantor, Andarríos Chico, Archibebe Común, Ruiseñor Pechiazul, Collalba Gris and Camachuelo Común.
