Descripción
The final part of Nyköpingsån river flows through the city of Nyköping. Along the river there is a very good walking path on both sides. Mostly functionally adapted. The best time to visit is during autumn, winter and spring. In the part from the harbor basin and upstream to Korsbron, there is no ice for the most part in winter and can Serreta Grande, Porrón Moñudo and Porrón Osculado be observed. On the river's edge Garza Real are often standing. At the rapids you can find Mirlo-acuático Europeo and Martín Pescador Común. On the stretch from Folkunga Bridge to Storhusfallet, there is also a point for Mirlo-acuático Europeo, Martín Pescador Común and Lavandera Cascadeña. From Storhusfallet to Stadsbron are mostly Ánade azulón, Porrón Moñudo and Porrón Osculado. In the spring, the harbor basin is one of the places where the first Gaviota Reidora, Charrán Común and other gulls and terns appear.
