Munksjön is a lake and nature reserve. There are footpaths around the entire lake. It is an oasis in the middle of town where you can go and relax. Among the birds you can encounter are Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental, Bigotudo, Serreta Chica, Porrón Moñudo, Martín Pescador Común and Rascón Europeo.

Munksjön is located in in Jönköping. You can find the lake in the middle of town, it is connected to both lake Vättern and lake Rocksjön. You can park in several places around the lake. For example at ICA Maxi and Knäcktaparken. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular walking route around the lake is about 5,5 km.
