In spring and summer Lövstaslätten is a good place to see many birds of prey like Aguilucho Cenizo, Aguilucho pálido, Milano Real and Pigargo Europeo. Even very rare species like Aguilucho Papialbo and Milano Negro have been seen here.
In autumn many migrating birds pass through here like Chorlito Dorado Europeo and rarities like Bisbita de Richard and Chorlito Carambolo have been seen. Escribano Nival and Pardillo Piquigualdo spend there winters here.

Lövstaslätten is vast and one can birdwatch anywhere, the area marked on the map is located just south-east of Uppsala outside of a village called Danmark and just one kilometer from Linnés Hammarby, where one can find a bigger parking lot. Parking is otherwise tricky and not intended. You can get here by both car and bike. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
