Descripción
Löddesnäs is located at the coast of Lomma bay where the river Löddeån reaches the sea. It is a well known resting and roosting area for shorebirds, ducks ans has proven to be a magnet for a variety of rarities. The birdingtower gives a good view of the shores but it is also worth taking the path out in the reeds. Apart from the path to the birding tower and the foot bridge in the reeds the area is restricted between 15/4 to 15/7.
In late summer the site is good for a wide variety of waders and a reliable spot to see Pagaza Piquirroja. In the autumn the marshes east of the tower are a good place for Agachadiza común, Agachadiza Chica and ocassionally Agachadiza Real. In the winter the mouth of the river is a good place for Avetoro Común. Along the river Pájaro-moscón Europeo is breeding and in the fall they can be seen in the reeds arround the tower together with Bigotudo.
