Descripción

Hallands Väderö is an island that since 1958 has been a nature reserve due to its valuable old beech-forest, unusual fungi and large bird populations. Many of the varied rocky and sandy beaches are excellent bathing spots. Some coastal sections and skerries are reserved for seals and nesting seabirds. Gulls and other seabirds are common and many Éider común breed on the island. It is also the only place on the west coast of Sweden, where Arao Aliblanco, Alca Común and Arao Común all three breed. But you can also find birds like Collalba Gris, Escribano Cerillo, Curruca Zarcerilla, Pardillo Común, Colirrojo Real, Tarabilla Norteña and Ruiseñor Ruso.
