Getnäset is an island in the big lake of Storsjön. The best time is when the ice melts and the lake bottom is exposed, usually in early May. Then a large number of ducks, waders and Grulla Común gather here to forage before moving on. Among the birds you can see are Combatiente, Archibebe Oscuro, Falaropo Picofino, Ánade rabudo norteño, Negrón común and Negrón especulado.
