Fiskeboda is a site with many different habitats. In the oak forest you can find Pito Real and Picamaderos Negro. From November to March on the water you can find ducks such as Serreta Chica, Porrón Osculado, Porrón Moñudo and in summer Águila Pescadora. In the cultural landscape and beach meadows you can observe pipits, larks and Escribano Cerillo. Birds of prey you can spot in the area are Azor Común, Abejero Europeo, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental and Pigargo Europeo (probably nests in the area). Terns, gulls and cormorants nest NW of Fiskeboda Camping.

Fiskeboda is located on a peninsula in Lake Hjälmaren. Click on a P in the map for directions. The best thing to explore the area is to walk through the sheep pasture in Fiskeboda village. Cycling is fine, but driving is not allowed.
