Descripción
On the cultivation fields adjacent to the major road before the exit, Búho Campestre, Aguilucho pálido and Cernícalo vulgar can also sometimes be seen hunting. There are new, raised, footbridges laid during the summer of 2021 so it is easy to get to the bird observation tower even if there is a little more water in the marsh that often overflows during April-May. However, early spring may be more flooded closer to the tower, so long boots (wellingtons) are a good idea. The nearby farmland is also good for small birds, such as Pico Menor, Ruiseñor Pechiazul and Picamaderos Negro. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are Cisne Cantor, Porrón Osculado, Ánsar común, Barnacla canadiense grande, Grulla Común, Zarapito Real, Cerceta Común, Alcotán Europeo and Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental.
