Descripción
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Chorlitejo Grande and Chorlitejo Chico, 3 species of Lavandera Boyera, countless Golondrina Dáurica, as well as Avión Roquero, Avión Común, Avión Zapador and Golondrina Común. Abubilla común can be seen in large numbers. Elanio Común hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Colirrojo Tizón, Colirrojo Real, Papamoscas Cerrojillo, Papamoscas Gris, Alcaudón real, Gorrión Moruno, 4 species of tits, Pico Picapinos, Pico Menor and Pito Real. The Águila Imperial Ibérica and Buitre Leonado breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Culebrera Europea, Águila calzada and Águila Pescadora are also frequently seen, as are Milano Negro and Milano Real.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
