Descripción
Adventuring into the Pyrenees mountains in the northeastern corner of Spain gives the traveler many great opportunities for birding. The sloping and dramatic topography of the region means that many species are endemic to the area – here in the Pyrenees and here alone. One of the great areas is the Natural Park of Posets-Maladeta. Among the birds you can see here are: Treparriscos, Quebrantahuesos, Culebrera Europea, Águila Real, Verderón Serrano, Lechuza Común, Herrerillo Capuchino, Camachuelo Común, Chova Piquirroja, Gorrión Alpino, Trepador Azul, Bisbita Alpino, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo and Buitre Leonado.
