Descripción
Nice comfortable viewpoint with a hide, information panels and several picknick tables. One of the main viewpoints of the Monfrague National park and one of the standard breeding sites for both Alimoche Común and Buitre Leonado, while all other raptors in the area soar by every now and again. Lasty, the picknick spot is frequently visited by Red deer (often grazing on the spot itself!) and Red fox, Moorish geckos hunt along the wooden beams in the hide.

The entire National park is amazing for (nearly) all the spectaculair species of the Iberian fauna. Also the Embalse the Arrocampo with it's great range of marshland birds, is just over an hour drive away.
The birds are the main attraction, but Monfrague has a fantastic range of reptiles (Ocellated lizard, various snakes, Spanish terrapin, which is common in the rivers and streams, and many more) and mammals (red deer and wild boar are numerous, red fox and mongoose are relatively common, if hard to find and even Iberian lynx, altough extremely rare, occurs in the general area).
