Descripción
Hraške Mlake are two ponds surrounded with reeds and trees. The wetland is located in an area of small villages in an agricultural landscape of open fields. At Hraške Mlake you can usually see Somormujo Lavanco, Cisne Vulgar, Zampullín Común, Cuchara Común, Gallineta Común, Carricero Común, sometimes Martinete Común and Andarríos Bastardo. Other birds that can be spotted depending on the season are Cuco Común, Cerceta Carretona, Cerceta Común, Serreta Grande, Garceta Grande, Carbonero Palustre, Colirrojo Tizón and Curruca Capirotada.

Hraške Mlake is located 15 km north of Ljubljana. Bus connections are available from Ljubljana to the village of Hraše. From the village you can easily walk to the wetland. When you have your own transport you can park right by the pond. Click on the P in the map for directions.
