Descripción
Lagoas de Campo de Milho is a small wetland, near a popular hotel, where you can add a few non-endemic species. This is a good place to see Malachite Kingfisher - regarded by some as a seperate species. There are also Eurasian Moorhen, Striated Heron, and many Southern Masked Weaver, Common Waxbills, etc. Squacco Heron can also been seen from the main coastal road, and in-season, Harlequin Quail can be heard calling in the wet grasslands. Best to visit in the early morning before the heat kicks in.

Accesso
From the main coastal road, walk down the only access road to the right, right again, and follow the muddy path. At the last house carry on straight, towards the derelict building. Find a spot there to your left, to look over the wetland.
