Izmaylovsky Park (Измайловский Парк) is one of the largest parks in Moscow. The park consists of two areas: Izmaylovsky forest and Izmaylovsky Park for recreation. The major part of the forest consists of deciduous trees, such as linden tree, oak, birch, maple. The Eastern part of the forest is constituted mainly by pines and firs that are more than hundred years old. Many species of woodpeckers and other forest birds can be observed. For example Mochuelo Alpino, Pico Dorsiblanco, Mosquitero Silbador, Carricero de Blyth, Buscarla Fluvial, Jilguero Lúgano, Camachuelo Común, Picogordo Común, Camachuelo Carminoso, Ruiseñor Ruso, Papamoscas Gris, Cuervo Grande, Gavilán Común and Azor Común.

Izmaylovsky Park is situated in the Izmaylovo District in the northeast of Moscow. The northern border of the park is the tram line alongside the Izmailovskaya station of the Moscow Metro that serves the park, the southern is the Entuziastov Highway. The 9 km circular walk indicated on the map is just a suggestion. There are dozens of other paths to explore the park.
