Most of this area near the Buzau river is open rocky terrain with scattered bushes and poplar where a multitude of birds make their home. This includes, among others Carraca Europea, Oropéndola Europea, Abejaruco Europeo, Abubilla común, Collalba Isabel, Alcotán Europeo, Busardo Moro, Collalba Gris, Pico Sirio, Tórtola Europea, Alcaudón Chico and Alcaudón Dorsirrojo. Aguilucho Cenizo, Águila calzada and Cigüeña Blanca also often pass by.
In the northern end by the Buzau river other birds such as Garceta Común, Alcaraván Común, Chorlitejo Chico, Archibebe Claro, Andarríos Bastardo and Fumarel Cariblanco can be seen.

Accesso
The site is located north of the village of Bentu. A large gravel road runs through the area from Bentu to the Buzau River. It is recommended to drive to the northern end of the area where most of the birds are located. Press P on the map for directions. From here the area can be explored on foot or by bike.
