The entire Tràs-os-Montes region is a beautiful, undiscovered area teeming with birds. For example around the village of Loivos where you can find birds such as Abubilla común, Milano Real, Milano Negro, Águila Imperial Ibérica, Buitre Leonado, Perdiz Roja, Golondrina Dáurica, Tórtola Europea, Oropéndola Europea and a large colony of Abejaruco Europeo.
