Descripción
The Divor reservoir and its surroundings are great for bird watching. Much of the area is underexplored. The main observation point on the north side is the dam, which allows observing the waters of the reservoir. But as this dam is quite busy with sportsmen and fishermen, the disturbance can be high, so the number of birds present is not always high. So it is also good to explore the other side of the reservoir. On the lake and around the margins you can see ducks, grebes, Flamenco Común, herons and waders lake Andarríos Chico and Archibebe Claro.
In the surrounding areas many birds can be seen. For example Escribano Soteño, Escribano Triguero, Críalo Europeo, Abejaruco Europeo, Abubilla común, Alcaudón real, Cogujada Montesina, Cogujada Común, Alondra Común, Cistícola Buitrón, Zarcero Políglota and Curruca Cabecinegra. Also many birds of prey can be seen flying over the area. In summer you have a good chance on Milano Negro, Águila calzada and Buitre Leonado. In winter Aguilucho pálido, Milano Real and Elanio Común. All year round you can see Busardo ratonero, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental and Cernícalo vulgar. Aguilucho Cenizo can bee seen mostly in August.
