Żwirownia Brzegi has a large colony of Gaviota Reidora on the island, and Charrancito Común and Charrán Común also nest there. The terrain is varied: shrubs, grasses, deciduous trees, ponds. Among the other birds you can encounter are Ganso del Nilo, Cernícalo vulgar, Serreta Grande, Carricero Tordal, Zampullín Cuellinegro and Camachuelo Común.
