A bay heavily overgrown with reeds and marshy shores - therefore observations in this place are only possible from a large distance, using a telescope. The places from where you can observe the bay are located on a hill, providing a great view. At any time of year, there are many water birds in the bay. During migrations and in winter, these are mainly flocks of: Ánade azulón, Ánade friso, Silbón Europeo, Cerceta Común, Cuchara Común, Porrón Moñudo, Focha Común, Somormujo Lavanco, Zampullín Común, Gaviota Enana (up to several thousand individuals), Cisne Vulgar, Cisne Cantor, Ánsar careto, Ánsar Campestre de la Tundra, Serreta Grande, Serreta Chica and Porrón Osculado. During the breeding season Fumarel Común and Fumarel Cariblanco nest in this area. The bay is a regular hunting ground for Pigargo Europeo and Águila Pescadora (spring and summer).

The best place to observe is near the village of Skarchowo - look for elevations. The shores of the bay are inaccessible, there are no roads passable for cars. The suggested parking place is marked on the map. Press P on the map for directions.
