Descripción
The Witoszówka reservoir in Świdnica is a recreational place for Świdnica residents and a reserve for anglers. Although the shore is regulated without trees and reeds it is home to hundreds of birds. In winter this is a great place to observe gulls from a short distance (the reservoir is max. 300 m long, the piers are located in its south-western part). During winter migration, there are Gaviota Cana, Gaviota Reidora, Gaviota del Caspio and Gaviota argéntea europea. Often Gavión Atlántico, Gaviota sombría and Gaviota Cabecinegra. Occasionally Gaviota Tridáctila. Other birds you can see are Porrón Europeo, Cerceta Carretona, Cisne Vulgar, Tarro Canelo and Serreta Grande.
