This small permanent pool attracts a significant number of birds. During migrations and in winter, flocks of waterfowl of up to 300 individuals gather here, including: Cisne Cantor, Cerceta Común, Silbón Europeo, Cuchara Común and Ánade rabudo norteño. In warmer periods of the year and with favourable mud conditions, it is easy to observe Andarríos Bastardo, Combatiente and Archibebe Claro. In spring, nearby you can see Agachadiza común, Ruiseñor Pechiazul and Curruca Gavilana. In the floodplain, the breeding grounds are led here by Avefría Europea, Grulla Común and Cisne Vulgar. The floodplain is conducive to observing the hunting Pigargo Europeo.
Note: the area where the birds are observed is in private hands and is fenced with a net. The birds can be observed from a medium distance without entering its immediate vicinity.
