Descripción
Park Sołacki was designed as an English style city park with old trees, ponds, walking paths and benches. During the weekends the park is full of families and kids but... the park is full of birds too. It is very easy to get there by bus, tram or bike. A circular walk will take you about half an hour only. If you are visiting Poznan for business or as a tourist it is a nice place for some relaxed birding. You will see mostly common birds like Ánade azulón, Corneja Cenicienta Gallineta Común, Mirlo Común , etc but also a chance on birds like Jilguero Lúgano, Curruca Capirotada, Zorzal Real, Pico Picapinos and Pato Mandarín.
In winter, when the surrounding reservoirs are frozen (e.g. in January 2024), there is a good chance of observing numerous Cormorán Grande and Serreta Grande .
