The Odra is Poland's second-longest river. The floodplains of the Odra next to the Janówek sewage treatment plant are a good area for birding. Among the birds you can encounter are Porrón Osculado, Serreta Grande, Serreta Chica, Escribano Palustre, Escribano Cerillo, Escribano Triguero, Lavandera Cascadeña, Pigargo Europeo, Curruca Capirotada, Ruiseñor Común, Bisbita Alpino, Zarcero Icterino, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo and Oropéndola Europea.
