Descripción
Łazienki Park is spacious and full of life. Best to visit in the morning when people are not there yet. Note that it's open from 6 am. Two pairs of Cárabo Común can be heard at night. If you ask a local birder they will be happy to show you where they spend their day. Pato Mandarín, Serreta Grande and Ánade azulón nest in the park. A pair of Cuervo Grande breed here every year as well.
The park is known for the many woodpecker species that can be seen here. It's difficult not to see Pito Real, Pico Picapinos and Pico Mediano on your visit. If you have a bit more luck you might see Pico Menor, Picamaderos Negro or a Pico Sirio. Various songbirds breed here, Trepador Azul is very common. In May and June you might spot a Papamoscas Cerrojillo or Papamoscas Gris in the part of the park where horses used to be held.
