Descripción
Jezioro Wilanowskie (Lake Wilanowskie) is part of the Wilanów palace and park complex, constituting a water link between the Wilanów Garden and the Morysin Nature reserve. The lake is a former water course of the river Vistula. On the eastern side, the shore is more natural. The lake is surrounded by trees, reeds and mostly overgrown with water lilies. Both the lake and park are good places for birding.
Among the birds you can see in the park are Pico Mediano and 4 other species of woodpecker, and also birds like Trepador Azul, Papamoscas Gris, Cárabo Común, Picogordo Común, Camachuelo Común and more. Along the lake you can see Cisne Vulgar, Martín Pescador Común, Pato Mandarín, Serreta Grande, Zampullín Común, Avetorillo común, Carricero Tordal, Oropéndola Europea and sometimes Polluela Pintoja.
