Descripción
Dziećkowice is one of the cleanest water reservoirs in the Silesian Voivodeship. The area is a great birding place during autumn migration, mainly for ducks, divers and gulls. At least 150 species of birds have been observed here. The rarer birds observed here include Barnacla cuelliroja, Ganso del Nilo, Tarro Blanco, Pato Mandarín, Pato Colorado, Porrón Pardo, Éider común, Gaviota Tridáctila, Colimbo Grande, Bisbita Alpino and Escribano Nival.

The Dziećkowice Reservoir is located between the towns of Mysłowice and Oświęcim and just east of the villages of Imielin and Chełm Śląski. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The best way to explore this place is on foot.
