Brzostowo is absolutely the best birdwatching spot in Biebrza National park, with the overview of parks meadows you can easily observe Avefría Europea, Combatiente, Aguja Colinegra, Archibebe Común and Andarríos Bastardo. Big concentrations of all kinds of ducks like Silbón Europeo, Ánade rabudo norteño, Cerceta Carretona, Ánade friso, Cerceta Común, swans (early spring) Cisne Chico, Cisne Cantor and geese Ánsar careto, Ánsar Campestre de la Tundra, Ánsar común and other more rare geese. During the spring season all Polish terns are present at the spot. Pigargo Europeo patrol the area every day.
