The Yperenplas (also called Wilpse Plas) is an easy accessible birding place near the city of Deventer. It offers a wide view on the typical IJssel valley, with a good chance of special species on the lake and in the surroundings. Among the birds you can see here are Ánsar común, Águila Pescadora, Collalba Gris, Gaviota Cana, Cuchara Común, Ánade friso, Silbón Europeo, Espátula Común, Gaviota Reidora, Barnacla Cariblanca and Cernícalo vulgar. Rarities that have been seen here are Porrón Pardo, Colimbo Chico and Cigüeñuela común.

Het biedt een weids uitzicht over de typische IJsselvallei, met een goede kans op bijzondere soorten op het meer en in de omgeving.
