The Vondelpark is an oasis with many birds in the middle of the city. You can see common birds like Garza Real, Ánade azulón, Focha Común, Cisne Vulgar and Carbonero Común. But there are also more surprising species such as Gavilán Común, Cigüeña Blanca, Pico Picapinos and Carricero Común. The Cotorra de Kramer can also often be seen in the park.

The park is located in the middle of the city of Amsterdam and is easily accessible on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. From Amsterdam Central Station, tram line 2 runs along the Vondelpark.
