Descripción

The Plompe Tower is the church tower (and only remnant) of Koudekerke. A former village on Schouwen-Duiveland that was once swallowed by the waves. This is good place to enjoy the view on the Oosterschelde and Schouwen-Duiveland. Many birds are attracted by the so calles 'inlages', low-lying, moist grasslands that are partly submerged. In spring you see Archibebe Común, Aguja Colinegra, Avoceta Común and Gaviota Reidora. In the winter months, thousands of Barnacla Cariblanca and Barnacla Carinegra forage on the brackish grassland.
