De Oeverlanden is a nature reserve with rugged nature. The area is a remnant of the original peat landscape. It consists mainly of reed land and marshy forest and is an important habitat for wetland birds such as the Carricero Común, Escribano Palustre, Martín Pescador Común, Ruiseñor Común and Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental. In the small reed marsh in the forest, you can find bird species like Azor Común, Cetia Ruiseñor, Carricerín Común and Rascón Europeo.

Nederlands: De Oeverlanden is een natuurgebied in Amsterdam Nieuw-West met ruige natuur. Het gebied is een restant van het oorspronkelijke veenlandschap en één van de natuurkernen in het Amsterdamse Bos. Het bestaat vooral uit rietland en moerasbos en het is een belangrijk leefgebied voor moerasvogels zoals de Carricero Común, Escribano Palustre, Ruiseñor Común, Martín Pescador Común en Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental. In het kleine rietmoeras in het bos kun je vogelsoorten vinden als Azor Común, Cetia Ruiseñor, Carricerín Común, Cuco Común en Rascón Europeo.
