The Lutkemeerpolder is a small reed area. Birds you may see or hear in the area include Escribano Palustre, Carricerín Común, Buscarla Unicolor, Ruiseñor Pechiazul, Mosquitero Musical, Zampullín Común, Avión Zapador, Mosquitero Común, Porrón Europeo, Ánade azulón, Somormujo Lavanco, Carricero Común and Curruca Capirotada. Also Avetoro Común is sometimes observed as well as Carricero Tordal and Cuco Común.

Nederlands: De Lutkemeerpolder is een klein rietgebiedje tussen Amsterdam en Halfweg. Vooral rietvogels zijn er in het voorjaar prima te zien en te horen. Vogels die je in het gbied kunt zien of horen zijn onder meer Escribano Palustre, Carricerín Común, Buscarla Unicolor, Ruiseñor Pechiazul, Mosquitero Musical, Zampullín Común, Avión Zapador, Mosquitero Común, Porrón Europeo, Ánade azulón, Somormujo Lavanco, Carricero Común en Curruca Capirotada.
