It Swin is a small lake surrounded by reed beds and marsh. In the autumn you can often see large groups of Silbón Europeo. Cerceta Común, Cuchara Común, Porrón Europeo, Porrón Moñudo, Serreta Grande and Serreta Chica also visit the area. It Swin is located between Harich and Elahuizen (2 km from Elahuizen) on the Keamerlanswei. Parking at the gate with information panel and bench. Also at a viewing platform on the road. Outside the breeding season after 15 June, a so-called boot-path can be walked from Elahuizen through the meadows and partly over the quay of It Swin.
